October Kids Photo Contest

Even though Jake Westover (12 years old) is not eligible to be in the contest, he wanted to jump-start it with this photo that he took of his two cockatoos.

O.K. Kids, send me a photo with an animal somewhere in the picture. The animal doesn’t have to be the main subject. You can use a stuffed animal if you don’t have a live one to work with.

The Wine Country Sonoma, California

We are back from the wine country and what an incredible way to relax! We spent 3 days with good friends and family in one of the most beautiful settings.

Each one of us had our own little cottage at "Les Petite Maison" in Sonoma, California.

Welcome To My Blog!

Hello there, I'm Val and I am a portrait, wedding and lifestyle photographer based in California. This Blog is a blend of both my personal and working life; I'll be posting photographs from recent portraits, weddings and lifestyle/portrait shoots as well as photographs from my personal day to day activities.

I hope to create an information source for current and potential clients; and, also give you a sense of who I am, and what I am all about.

We are very fortunate to work with Stephanie Adriana. She also is a wedding and lifestyle/portrait photographer. I will be posting photographs from her recent weddings and lifestyle/portrait shoots. She leaves in the morning to photograph a wedding in Washinton D.C. ( her second destination wedding this month ) and last month she photographed Jannero Pargos wedding in Hollywood!
She hopes not only to create an information source for current and potential clients, but also for her peers!
Ann and I will be meeting up with Stephanie and her husband in the beautiful Napa Valley for a little R&R! I will be posting images when I get back.
